WAEC Recruitment Requirements in 2025

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Applicant must be a Nigerian with a form of identification (NIN, national ID, voters cards, etc.).
• Five (5) credits in SSCE/WASSCE, including English Language and Mathematics in one sitting, or six (6) credits in not more than two sittings.
• Candidates must be below 40 years of age.
• Ordinary National Diploma (OND), National Certificate of Education (NCE), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.Sc.) in any recognised discipline with at least a Second Class Lower Division.
• Up to three (3) years of post-NYSC teaching experience is an added advantage.
• Candidates applying for specialised roles must have relevant professional certifications for their respective professions.
• Candidates should be able to demonstrate high integrity and reliability, ability to work extra hours with minimal supervision, teamwork and leadership capabilities.
• Applicants must have good analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is an added advantage.

How to Apply for WAEC Recruitment in 2025

Interested applicants should visit WAEC’s official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.waec.com.ng to complete and submit their applications online. You are to submit your educational qualifications (secondary and tertiary) and scanned passport photograph during the registration.
