Nigerian Navy Recruitment Requirements for 2025
To apply for the Nigerian Navy in 2025, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must be a Nigerian citizen by birth and have a National Identification Number (NIN).
- Male applicants must be at least 1.69 meters tall, while female applicants must be at least 1.65 meters tall.
- Must be medically, psychologically, and physically fit.
- Must not have any previous criminal convictions.
- Applicants with O’Level/SSCE results must be between 18 and 22 years old. They must have at least 5 credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB. Results must not be older than 2018.
- Applicants with OND/NCE must be between 18 and 26 years old. For Chaplain/Imam Assistant and Drivers/Mechanic roles, the age limit is 18 to 28 years. They must also have 5 credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB. Results must not be older than 2014.
- Tradesmen must have Trade Test certificates and a credit in English Language, with at least 4 passes in other subjects. Results must not be older than 2014.
- Applicants in professions allied to medicine must have an ND from a recognized institution and a valid practicing license.
- Sportsmen and women must provide evidence of their experience, including certificates and medals.
- All applicants must be proficient in English. Inability to communicate in basic English will lead to disqualification.
How to Apply for Nigerian Navy Recruitment in 2025

The Attestation Form must include the passport photograph of the applicant and a photocopy of the signee’s Driver’s License, International Passport, or National ID Card. The signee must also authenticate the applicant’s passport photograph.
