A new batch of recruitment is now ongoing at the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The question is: are you qualified? The Agency has announced the commencement of 2024 recruitment exercise, and is inviting QUALIFIED Nigerians to apply for enlistment into the agency. NDLEA Recruitment Categories 2024
The recruitment covers three main categories, each with specific requirements. As reported by the NDLEA Director Media and Advocacy for Management, the agency has vacancies for Superintendent Cadre (General Duties or Specialists). This Category includes Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics II (CONPASS 08) (hold a first degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognised institution, and present a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate). Also available is the position of Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics I (CONPASS 09) (degrees such as LL.B, BL, B.Eng (with COREN), or B.Pharm are eligible. Successful CONPASS 09 candidates will be granted this rank upon completing their training. The third vacancy in this category is the Deputy Superintendent of Narcotics (CONPASS 10) (qualifications like MBBS or DVM will be eligible for this position after training).
NDLEA also has vacancy for Narcotic Agent Cadre, which includes Chief Narcotic Agent (CONPASS 07) (position requires a Nigerian Certificate of Education or qualifications such as registered nurse, midwife, pharmacy technician, lab technician, or dental technician certificates), Senior Narcotic Agent (CONPASS 06) (hold a National Diploma (ND) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution), and Narcotic Agent (CONPASS 05) (candidates need at least five credits in SSCE, GCE, or NABTEB, including English and Mathematics).
The third recruitment category is the Narcotic Assistant Cadre, which includes Narcotic Assistant I (CONPASS 04) (have at least four credits in SSCE, GCE, or NABTEB, including Mathematics or English), Narcotic Assistant II (CONPASS 03) (a minimum of three credits in SSCE, GCE, or NABTEB is required, including Mathematics or English), and Artisans and Others Positions (such as mechanics, drivers, cleaners, and gardeners, which require secondary school completion or a Trade Test Grade II or III certificate).

NDLEA Recruitment Requirements
All applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be Nigerian by birth and possess a National Identity Number (NIN).
- Candidates must be certified medically fit by a government hospital.
- The age range is 20 to 35 years for the Superintendent Cadre, 18 to 30 years for Narcotic Agent and Assistant Cadres. However, medical doctors and articulated vehicle drivers may apply up to 40 years.
- Male candidates must be at least 1.65 metres tall, and females at least 1.60 metres.
- Applicants must be of good character, drug-free, and must not have a criminal record.
- Medical and allied professionals must have current practising licences, and lawyers must have been called to the Bar.
- Only personal email addresses and phone numbers should be used during the application process.
How to Apply for NDLEA Recruitment

The Director Media and Advocacy For Management has made it clear that multiple applications will result in disqualification.
