Kwara TESCOM: Teaching Job Applicants Can Now Check Results

Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has announced that applicants for public school teaching jobs can now check their results for the CBT exam held on Saturday.

The Chairman of TESCOM, Mallam Bello Taoheed, said that all applicants who took the test can see their results on the official portal.

“This is the first step after the exams. The Commission will soon release the cutoffs that would determine the candidates who proceed to the interview stage, among other things,” he said.

Mallam Bello Taoheed explained that 8,529 applicants sat for the exam in different centers. He gave the breakdown as follows: COED Ilorin, 2,891; Ilorin West LGA, 1,991; UNILORIN, 1,677; Lafiagi, 812; Offa, 586; Oko, 297; Patigi, 275. A total of 9,459 applicants were invited, but some did not show up.

“We shall communicate further steps to all the applicants, including the cutoff marks, date of interviews, and other things,” he added.

Applicants are advised to check their results on the portal and wait for more information from TESCOM. The next steps will include the release of cutoff marks and interview dates.
