We host three (3) interns to volunteer on a 15 week project which would help us continue the work we do – ensuring that there is exigent awareness on Sickle Cell Disorder (SCD) and that persons with SCD have access to quality healthcare.
Our scheme is open to undergraduates, graduates and career changers who are looking to develop their skills and gain work experience. Our internships are based in Abuja and support our regional partnerships, supporting our events or volunteer fundraising.
This internship would give you a genuine sense of responsibility, help you develop your transferable skills and improve your CV. You would also receive training and work with dedicated members of the organisation to help with your progress. We would provide you with a reference upon successful completion of your internship. Travel and lunch expenses would be reimbursed.
Interns are recruited to volunteer on specific projects, which include;
– Community Health Engagement
– Health Information
– Corporate Partnership
Internships take place up to 5 days a week for 15 weeks (suject to negotiation), during which time you could be researching and planning a new project or coordinating a project already in its delivery stages.
