FIRS Recruitment 2024
FIRS has announced that the official application portal will open on 2nd November 2024, at 12:00 am. Interested candidates are advised to prepare their documents and be ready to apply promptly. The recruitment will focus on filling the roles of Tax Officers (Officer II and Officer I) at various locations nationwide.

The recruitment covers the following states: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Ekiti, Lagos, and Oyo.
FIRS Recruitment Requirements
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be 27 years or younger by 31st December 2024.
- Candidates must have completed their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) by 31st December 2021.
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or HND with a First Class or Second Class Upper Division in any of the following disciplines:
- Accounting, Actuarial Science, Business Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Digital/Electronic Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Financial Management, Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Law, Management/Business Administration, Market Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Taxation, Visual Arts.
- Other qualifications such as relevant Master’s degrees or professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, ANAN, COREN, NSE) will be an added advantage.
